Easy Grilled Atlantic Salmon
Prepare Grill for direct cooking (no heat deflector plates) and heat to 325 degrees Fahrenheit
In a bowl, squeeze juice from 2 lemons and mix with soy sauce, brown sugar, water olive oil and two twists of cracked pepper. Put the Salmon in a plastic storage container and pour in mixture. Refrigerate for 1 – 2 hours, gently shaking the container once or twice.
Grill over direct heat (325 (f) for 10 minutes a side. Remember, fish is done when it easily flakes with a fork.
Salmon is fragile, be gentle with the fish on the grill use spatula and tong to maneuver the fish. Take a paper towel with a little bit of olive oil and rub on the surface of grill (use tongs) where you will be cooking the fish. Salmon with skin is ideal to grill as it holds together a little bit better than without.
This is a fantastic, very healthy dish which is good for your heart and joints. Pair with a fresh salad and seasonal vegetables.
