Chicken Wing Recipe Instructions
Step One: In a large bowl, stir together the olive oil, vinegar, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder and sugar for the marinade. Blend thoroughly until the salt is fully dissolved.
Step Two: If you bought whole wings, cut off the wing tips at the joint, next cut the joint between the flat and drumette to give you two pieces per wing. Set the wings in an extra large Ziplock bag or separate if needed into two 1 large resealable plastic bags.
Step 3: Remove a half cup of the marinade for basting and set to the side. Add the remaining marinade to the bag(s) of wings. Move the makes around to ensure the wings are completed covered. .Squeeze to remove as much air from the bag(s) as possible. Finally, set the bag or bags of wings in the refrigerator for a minimum of 2 hours.
Step 4: Warn the grill to 350°F and set it up for indirect cooking (roasting). Set the wings onto the grill and throw away the marinade from the bags and the bags themselves. Roast the wings for 30 minutes and baste with the half cup of marinade that was originally set aside. Rotate the wings from side to side until they reach a nice rich brown color.
Step 5: Serving Suggestions: Serve with wings immediately with malt vinegar, carrots and your favorite dressing.
